A CULTURAL CLASS
Last Tuesday, 2nd , 3rd and 4th ESO students had the opportunity to attend “ ACultural Talk” in our school thanks to the publisher Burlington books. The lessons were given by Mark, a native speaker, who attracted the students’ attention right from the start. It turned out to be a very positive experience as they learned some relevant aspects about British and American culture in a fun and interesting way.
The sessions were interactive and all the audience participated answering questions. Some of the students participated in a quiz similar to the well-known television game show “Who wants to be a millionaire?" The game included the three jokers for the contestants: Fifty -Fifty, Ask the Audience and Phone-A-Friend (This friend was Mark’s mum!!!!) and of course …prizes!
AN EXPERIENCE THAT WE HOPE TO REPEAT!

It was a fantastic session indeed. The funniest thing was when Mark phoned his mum in England to answer a question from the quiz!! It was amazing!!
